What do you need?
When browsing themes in the visual theme switcher (SUPER + SHIFT + CTRL + SPACE), it would be nice to see a preview strip of that theme's available backgrounds — small thumbnails along the bottom of the screen that update as you move through the theme carousel.
Why
Right now, seeing a theme's backgrounds requires opening the separate background switcher (SUPER + CTRL + SPACE) after picking a theme. Since a theme's overall feel is often driven as much by its background(s) as its color palette, it'd help to see both at once when deciding which theme to pick — rather than needing to switch into a theme first, then check the backgrounds separately, then possibly go back and try a different theme.
What I'm imagining
As you cycle through themes in the switcher, a row of small background thumbnails appears at the bottom of the screen, showing the backgrounds bundled with (or added to) the currently highlighted theme.
Optionally, being able to click/select a specific background thumbnail directly from that view, rather than needing to open the separate background switcher afterward.
Happy to help test or provide more detail on the interaction if useful.
I had the agent work on a solution. It isn't a good solution, I wouldn't recommend a PR for it, but it is enough to show what I'm talking about. With this solution, both theme and background would be selected the same way, so only one keybinding would be needed.
