Get some important documents in Gdrive post-reorg

Going through some of our discussions about the gdrive reorg I have a few things I wanted to make here so we don't forget them.

Documents we need updates on:

• TY2022 990 needs to go into Finances
• 2022-2023 Tax form information
• Articles of incorporation (see comment thread here ) I have a folder that is supposed to be them but I think this needs to be a little more legible on what these docs are and how up to date things are.
• Financial
  • Balance sheet (need to make a living doc version)
  • Income statement (need to make a living doc version)
  • Cash flow statement (not sure but I think we need a living doc version of this too)
  • Operating budget

@jcklpe hello, i've mentally lost track of this ticket/work. think we can close it? the most recent comment mentioned a ledger, I think that's related to #410

@lianilychee This isn't primarily about the ledger. There's a number of other documents that I noted we needed to follow up on, while I was doing the gdrive reorg.

• TY2022 990 needs to go into Finances

  I'm not rushing on this stuff, I just wanted to log it here so that we could circle back and not let it fall through the cracks. The financial stuff is mostly getting sorted out in the other ticket but the other stuff I think is still unknown on my end at least.

Looks like the prev treasurer did not file / does not exist, I scoured thru Google Drive this morning. I'll edit #406 to include. No penalty thank goodness.

• 2022-2023 Tax form information

This is the same as the 990. I can't for the life of me find some supporting documentation though - invoices #4-6 are supposed to be in [here]. Do you remember seeing invoices from 2022 for the IDS project (Nidhi Reddy, Josh Leibowitz, Emily Bartha, Lucia Zimmerman) ?

Between gDoc comments and time, I've forgotten where we stand on understanding the articles of incorporation

WRT Articles of Incorporation: I think we need to get the latest copy from the Sec of State web portal right? At least nothing I saw in the gdrive looks like that. I see applications for incorporation etc but no "articles" as far as I understand that.

@jcklpe - articles and Sec of State portal - you're right. I forgot that I have to retrieve password. I'll re-get on that

Invoices - yah I'm looking for invoices 4, 5, and 6 (which aren't in that folder). If u didn't see Invoices 4, 5, and 6 when you were oringinally going thru, no worries - we'll chalk it up to bad bookkeeping and gDrive organization, which we are fixing.

@jcklpe update on unearthing "articles of incorporation" on the SOS portal.

Bottom line: I think we should just ask Jake from ACT about this when we f/up about #426 , because after working through the SOS portal, I think Certificate of Formation (what we DO have) is the same as Articles of Incorporation (what we've been trying to unsuccessfully find). I wonder if Articles of Incorporation is a phrase someone made up when writing the orig bylaws.

Why I think this:

• The Secretary of State does not have a form for filing "articles of incorporation" but they do for "certificate of formation" https://www.sos.state.tx.us/corp/forms_boc.shtml
• "Articles of -anything-" is not a search category. Note that each search incurs a $5-ish transaction fee, so I didn't dare click on anything further / only looked at category options (see pic)
