Introduction
My name is Harini Venkataraman. I'm a UX/product designer with a background in graphic design, branding, motion design & website design. I have been attending Open Austin since mid-2025. I am interested in working on substantiating solutions for Open Austin and make it easier for engineering creators and problem solvers in this community to visualize the direct usable potential of their work through UX research and UI design.

- UX research (personas, use-cases, user-journeys, user-testing, etc.)
- UI design (wireframing, prototyping, HTML+CSS updates)
- Content design (writing with/without the help of AI assistants)
- Narrative design (presentations, storytelling scripts, demo videos, etc.)
- Video editing (Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Print design (Adobe CC - Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, etc.)
- 3D modelling/creation
- a little Dash (Python)
- Web design
- Lots of stories from my time as a starving art student in San Francisco.
What I want to know
- front-end development (potentially ReactJS)
- the REAL problems of Austin-ians (Austin-ers?)
- how to impact community-level change/behavior
