missing 'about' section

At the bottom of the homepage there is no section for About openSUSE where it is explained what openSUSE is, where it comes from and how it is organised/funded.

If I may extend this:

• the "contribute" section makes no mention of options for users wishing to financially support the project
• if the project cannot accept donations for legal reasons, these reasons might be mentioned and alternatives suggested

I mean, fundamentally speaking, there is no way to monetarily support openSUSE that benefits openSUSE, without spending a lot of money on expensive hardware. Even buying our merch doesn't directly benefit us. There are no real alternatives to speak of.
