As suggesteured I am trying to use Google AI to figure out how to connect to public portals streaming web layers. I have managed to connect the the portal, but it doesn't appear that any data gets sent. Google AI suggests it is because the webserver detects it is a webkit request and my just be a scraper and for security just doesn't send anything. I don't know much and am learning and one thing I have learned is that AI often says things that aren't correct. but if this is the case some effort should be made to these sorts of public portals know this is a legitimate gis service. There are many ways to connect but if no data gets sent if is of no value. I also know geo libre is new, maybe that sort of thing is not in the pipeline. |

What public portal? What is the URL? You need to provide the steps that can reproduce the issue. A generic complaint without detials is not helpful for debugging. |

Thanks, that works but it is for the whole state. It looks like it is a png image from the URL. I have a lot of other layers I want to display hat are on public portals. It seems like this type would bog things down. This particular one is pretty simple. This one I got from Google AI and was supposed to be some sort of hosted tile layer with standard labels. The other layers would be bigger. I haven't tried them yet but they were also to be used as OGC Vector tiles as was the civil boundaries. That is why this method was chosen. Here are the names and the links that Google AI came up with that I also need: Rivers, Streams, and Creeks Coded MVT Link Rivers, Streams, and Creeks Style JSON Link Inland Lakes, Ponds, and Reservoirs Coded MVT Link Inland Lakes and Ponds Style JSON Link The Coded Basin-Level Watershed Link https://hydro.nationalmap.gov/arcgis/rest/services/wbd/VectorTileServer/tile/{z}/{y}/{x}.pbf https://hydro.nationalmap.gov/arcgis/rest/services/wbd/VectorTileServer/resources/styles/root.json I have some layers I made that are from old survey drawings, originally tifs. I had to convert them to vectors and then to pmtiles and have and will host those on own. Those aren't available anywhere else and I will have to host those via a service. I have a few others I also created as traces as geojsons. Those I intend to embed. There are others, like the above that I have as local files but when I tried loading a lot of them found the project or sounds like browser bogged down. So I would like to use as many public portals for the layers that are available that way. I'd also intend to clip or limit the sizes of those as well, also to keep things light and fast. So with all that in mind, how will other sites like the one you provided work in that situation with those objectives? Where and how did you find this (assuming this type will be suitable)? I'm new to geo libe and new to hosted layers other than xyz layers which seem are more for basemaps and have used WMS layers a little years ago. All my experience, such as it is has been with standalone desktop type gis systems. Easily shareable web based is something new to me and I think new in general. |

Your URL does not work.
