Therefore, the comparison page might not feel accurate to industry experts.

This is Alex Tena, Director of Product @ CARTO.
First of all, congrats for the work on GeoLibre — It's an amazing project and we're extremely happy to see the space get traction, interest and movement. I personally think the approach is very interesting, and we're also excited about what open formats and open visualization libraries can do (like our work on deck.gl, Geoparquet, Raquet, and more recently, Portolan) for geospatial, especially about democratizing and lowering the threshold for anyone to do GIS.
This is a no-hard feelings issue. If you feel like CARTO should not be represented in this comparison, so be it.
But I think that your intention was to make an accurate representation and guidance of the GIS browser apps space and how GeoLibre can fit into that mix of open source and established commercial players like CARTO.
