[shelly] Support for Plus RGBW PM in "Lights x 4" mode

Hi all,

#16405 requested Shelly RGBWPM to be supported by Shelly binding. It has been solved via #17692 and released with openHAB 4.3. As mentioned in #17692 (comment), the PR only works if RGBW mode is active. It fails when the Shelly is configured to separate channels (aka Lights x 4).

Please add another Thing type to distinguish between those two modes, similar to shellyrgbw2:

shellyrgbw2-color 	Shelly RGBW2 Controller in Color Mode 	SHRGBW2
shellyrgbw2-white 	Shelly RGBW2 Controller in White Mode 	SHRGBW2

Not sure if this is the right place. I run into the same issue (RGBW is supported, Lights x4 not).

You need to delete and re-discovery the thing when changing between color and white mode This provides a different channel layout.

thank you for your reply. I never used my Shelly in RGBW mode, so openHAB never saw it in this. It has always been in Lights x4 mode.

I just re-added the Shelly and it's still not working - neither file based nor via GUI.

Any other ideas?

If you use just the first channel, you can use shellyplus10v as a workaround instead (works for me).

thank you for your reply. I'm already using two channels (and want to add the other two within the next weeks). Until then, this rule does the job.

Hello, i got the same problem, any Update here?

It has always been in Lights x4 mode and i got Error:

Same issue here. Seems I've to use MQTT to work around.
