Expected Behavior
-
The shelly Plus RGBW PM can be configured in three different Device Profiles "Lights x 4", "RGB, "RGBW". Issue#18001 addresses already the "Lights x 4" issue, but also RGB would be great if supported.
-
The Plus RGBW PM also has a power metering for which it would be great to have a channel.
-
Turning off the Light with the default UI button (when following default config through UI) should work as it works in the shelly Web interface
Current Behavior
When I configure the device in the Shelly Webinterface in "Settings->Device Profile" as "RGB" instead of "RGBW" the thing goes from Online to the API Error and then to Websocket Error. I tried autodiscovery as well as manual selection of the device - the behavior is the same.
There is no channel available for the power consumption
Possible Solution
Steps to Reproduce (for Bugs)
- Setup the shelly in the network
- Change configuration to "RGB"
- Use autodiscovery to add the thing
Context
I tried to connect a motion Shelly Blu motion detector to the Shelly RGB - until I noticed that there is no gateway funtion. Thank you all for the great work - I love the community and the work you are doing. Apologies if I did not follow some policies.
Your Environment
