Description of issue

There are 43 executables in my /usr/local/Cellar/ffmpeg/8.1/bin/, which includes a lot of scripts and a few things named *_test.

In contrast, installing ffmpeg on Windows with winget just gives you ffmpeg, ffplay, and ffprobe.

Sorry, bad wording. I don't think they should all be linked by default.

This is what ffmpeg seems a full install. It might be limited on windows, but that's not really a concern for Homebrew.

Yeah, agreed. Their default build target includes examples and test programs too, which are omitted already.

Maybe the tools could be moved to the ffmpeg-full formula, but I'm assuming that only exists to reduce dependencies.
