Cant make sunshine to work with Ubuntu 22.

A few months back it was working just fine.
Then something happens ( update of some kind ), and now its not working anymore :
-> My setup was using version 2025.924.154138 , using VA-API with an card RX5500.
-> After I stoped using it for a while, when I tried to use recently its showing green artifacts in screen.
-> Changing to software rendering fix it, but crash the entire system after a few minutes...
I tried to install the new version 2026, but it seems for some reason its impossible...
The only way I read it would be possible is to use the appimage, but it gives me the error:
Failed to set capabilities on file `/tmp/.mount_sunshihceKmg/usr/bin/sunshine-2026.323.224448' (Permission denied)
Do anyone knows how to use this software or its dead ?

You think software that was released 4 days ago is dead?

Don't use AppImage on Ubuntu... we provide an Ubuntu 22.04 deb, try it out.

Hi, I dont know about 4 days ago... I start using it for almost 2 years ago with no problem. It was just up to a few months ago it stops working...
I did try the AppImage for Ubunto, this one gives me the tmp access denied error, the other versions, including the deb one, just install the same older version 20 that is getting the problem for me. The one I install today and its not working , is the version : 2025.924.154138
This is as far as I know not the last version... Since the version from appimage v2026.323.224448]
I was hopping the new version would fix the problem... But I cant install it.
Every attempt to install it other then using the appimage, just install the old buged version.
The last attempt was with brew: brew install sunshine

We provide a deb package specifically for Ubuntu 22.04, there is no reason not to use that package.
