Ambiguous Errors When Uploading Snippets

I'm looking for some guidance on the error I'm getting when I attempt to upload Cloud Init snippets.

Below is my SSH config within the provider block:

ssh {
    agent    = var.ssh_config["enabled"]
    username = var.ssh_config["user"]
    password = var.ssh_config["password"]
    node {
      name = var.host_config["name"]
      address = var.host_config["endpoint"]
    }
  }

The variables are defined in a .tfvars file and i am currently using root credentials with a password (this is just for testing purposes, I will be creating a specific user for SSH operations in the future). I am able to ssh into my Proxmox host using both Password and Public Key authentication from the same machine with the same Proxmox user(s) - something is just going wrong when I try to upload the snippets.

Example snippet resource:

resource "proxmox_virtual_environment_file" "cloud_init_user_default" {
  node_name    = local.node_name
  content_type = "snippets"
  datastore_id = local.cloud_init_datastore
  source_file {
    path      = "./cloud-init/"
    file_name = "user-data-default.yml"
  }
}

This is the error that I'm getting:

Can anyone help me to determine any of the following:

1. The reason for this error?
2. How I can investigate what is causing the error i.e. looking at Proxmox logs?
3. How I can fix this error?

Just a sanity check, do you have the datastore enabled for snippets?

Also if you run terraform with debug log, e.g. TF_LOG=DEBUG terraform apply you may spot some extra errors / warnings in the debug output.

ah.. just spotted, your source_file.path is a directory, not a file
path = "./cloud-init/"

should be a file
