Unable to connect webUI to Pico via serial #398

Unfortunately, there's still very little information about RP-based devices. It's been three months, but still. Did you manage to solve your problem? When you connect to the device via the web interface, you need to select the port the device is running on. If the required port isn't listed, it's possible the user logged into the system doesn't have access rights to that port. You need to find out which user group the serial ports belong to and add your user to that group. I'm judging by *nix systems; they seem to still be somewhat similar to Apple systems. :) P.S.: Google translate)) |

Hi all,
I set up two RPi Pico boards with Waveshare HATs and have been able to send them commands via CLI including sending and receiving messages between the two nodes.
However, I have not been able to get the webUI to connect to the nodes via serial even though they are connected to my laptop using a data capable USB cable.
I am using a MacBook pro if that makes any difference.
Any assistance would be appreciated as I really want to use the hardware instead of giving up on it and getting something different altogether.
Thanks!
