Hello everyone. After much consideration, I have decided to remove the requirement for community-approval on PRs as a merge gate.
Previously, a specific number of thumbs up reactions were required on a PR as a status check for mergeability. That requirement has been removed from all mindbuttergold repos and related documentation.
Moving forward, only standard PR approval by 1 maintainer is required to satisfy reviewer approval requirements. Other status checks still apply, such as passing tests and valid PR titles.
The github-actions-reusable-workflows repo still houses workflows for checks based on the presence of a label, and min number of reactions on a PR, that people can use as desired.
