New Project: DevHub GitHub App

We're excited to share a new addition to the DevHub Organization: devhub-bot, a GitHub App built to automate the repetitive parts of repo maintenance.

What it does

devhub-bot is built on the Probot framework. It listens for GitHub webhook events like when issues are opened, PRs created, comments posted, and more; and triggers predefined actions to help enforce best practices, smooth out collaboration, and reduce manual overhead for maintainers and contributors.

Highlights

• Event-driven automation: reacts to GitHub webhook events in real time
• TypeScript: type-safe, maintainable codebase
• Docker support: for consistent, portable deployments
• Pre-configured for Vercel: deploy as a serverless function with no extra setup
• Tested with Vitest: with local dev support via smee-client
