GSoC 2026 Interested in Webpack Documentation Redesign Project

Hi,

I am interested in contributing to the Webpack Documentation Redesign project for Google Summer of Code 2026. I have been going through the project description and understanding the documentation pipeline involving TypeDoc, Markdown generation, and doc-kit integration.

I am currently exploring the repository to understand how the existing TypeDoc theme and processing pipeline work, especially the areas related to type mapping, YAML metadata generation, and example rendering mentioned in Milestone 1.

As a beginner to this codebase, I would like to ask:

What would be a good starting point for making my first contribution?
Are there any beginner-friendly tasks or specific parts of the theme that I should focus on initially?

I am eager to learn and contribute, and I would appreciate any guidance from the maintainers.
