Writing down some points before I forget them again:

• Use ParityDB instead of RocksDB for more performance
• Use polkadot-dev instead of rococo for correct weights
• Ensure use of wasm-compiled executor (should be the default now AFAIK) --wasm-execution=compiled --execution=wasm

@ggwpez ever since we moved to k8 execution mode, the binary is coming from docker.io/parity/polkadot:latest

are these points still relevant?

Yea it is. We are still not using ParityDB here

we also need to use the polkadot-dev runtime, otherwise we get sTPS for rococo and not Polkadot.
