"Not account found" trying to joing Slack

I was trying to join Slack but I get back an email saying:

Do I need be added first by someone from OPAL in order to join the Slack channel?

Hi @renatosc - sorry for the late reply.

This is a pretty weird error - are you getting it while using the invite link on our site?
Try this shortened link to it: https://io.permit.io/join_community
If you use the invite links you can join directly - no need for any additional invites.

If the problem persists - maybe try another email ?

That link worked, I was able to join.

Before I was using the link at the bottom of the OPAL Github page (https://bit.ly/opalslack) but I think this link requires you to have already joined the community before.
