[Suggestion] AHK_X11 Should Seek Compatibility With Version 1.1.x

It is clear that Crystal and the project could do it. The Experiment to see how close to get to v1.0.24 was a smashing success. It looks quite possible that AHK_X11 could get close to v1.1.24.00 (starting from 2016). Since the main version is firmly v2 and KeySharp targets v2, there should be no interference. Many love the 1.1 branch.

Hi, I'm glad you see it this way. I'm open for adding compatibility with v1.1 features (functions, expressions, objects etc.), even though personally I don't really like them. IMO AHKv1 should have gotten EnvMath, Return [value]s and ArrayGet/ArrayPut commands. But that ship has sailed.
So personally I won't be the one implementing, maintaining or testing it, so it's rather unlikely this will ever happen. I'm open for contributions, if they are accompanied by automated tests and performance checks. I don't think current LLMs are up to that right now, either.
Frankly, I consider ahk_x11 a mostly complete project, and hope for Keysharp to get there eventually some day, as it'll likely be much more mature.
