Async mode for InvoiceSalesOrders - mandatory parameter starting October 2026

Exact has added a new parameter Mode to InvoiceSalesOrders and it will be mandatory from October 2026.

This property should be included in the bundle.

Endpoint InvoiceSalesOrders

Good to know
Use this endpoint to invoice sales orders.
Note: You must include a parameter for 'SalesOrderID' to add a collection of sales orders IDs to be invoiced. When you invoice more than one sales order, the maximum total number of sales order lines is 500.

Use the parameter Mode to indicate if you want to wait for the result (sync) or start the process and get the results via the endpoint Invoicesalesordersresult later via the parameter ProcessID.
As of October 2026 only the Async mode will be supported. Change your applications that use this API before this time.

The To be invoiced page in Exact Online contains a list of all sales orders for which you need to create invoices.
