Confusing behaviours with "New folder" option on Folder context menu #121

@claremacrae

Description

@claremacrae

I have started using this plugin's "New folder" option in the context menu on the file path at the top of the screen.

Environment

  1. Sandbox vault
  2. Debug info:
SYSTEM INFO:
	Obsidian version: 1.12.5
	Installer version: 1.12.5
	Operating system: Darwin Kernel Version 25.2.0: Tue Nov 18 21:09:56 PST 2025; root:xnu-12377.61.12~1/RELEASE_ARM64_T6041 25.2.0

	Community theme: none
	Snippets enabled: 0
	Restricted mode: off
	Plugins installed: 1
	Plugins enabled: 1
		1: Quick Explorer v0.2.16

Steps to reproduce

  1. Right click on a folder name in the path in the title of the active window
  2. Select "New folder" option
  3. Give the new folder a name

Screen recording

Here is a screen recording of the things I found a bit confusing...

  1. It creates a new folder called "Untitled" before I have been invited to give the folder name.
  2. The modal is titled "File name", not "Folder name"
  3. Once it has created and named the new folder, a context menu appears at the bottom of the screen, and I can't tell why.
  4. The success message says "Successfully renamed file.", not "folder".
