Some config flags don't seem to be working

I've updated to the latest release: 2.12.2
I've updated my config file with some values from the example file in the repo.

NOSUBMIT=y

If abcde does not find an entry in Musicbrainz, I still get a prompt to submit an entry via http. Should that be skipped if NOSUBMIT is set to Y?

That's a good catch. NOSUBMIT was implemented for CDDB submission but it makes tonnes of sense to use it for the musicbrainz submission too. I haven't time to test it but I quickly wrote the little patch below that should give the behaviour you suggest. Please test it and let me know.
I also need to update the setting of defaults.. it looks like NOSUBMIT is null unless set in the config file and that's different to other config variables.

I applied your patch, but get the same results, even with the NOSUBMIT=y set.

Here's the output I get, it looks like it not getting to where you inserted the new conditional:

I'll hang on to this CD, it's a great test case!
