Xcode 26.4 native package traits support — can we drop the traits bridge package?

Xcode 26.4 was released yesterday and includes this release note:

Added the ability to enable package traits on dependencies from the Package Dependencies view. (141748785)

This seems like exactly what many of us have been working around with a local bridge package like this one:

Has anyone already tried enabling the StructuredQueriesCasePaths trait (or any other trait) directly through Xcode 26.4's new Package Dependencies UI? If so:

• Did it work as expected?
• Were you able to fully remove the bridge package from your project?
• Any gotchas or caveats to be aware of?

Would love to know if we can finally do this the "native" way before I attempt the migration myself. Thanks!

From our testing traits does indeed work just fine in Xcode 26.4.
