Global Menu

Please consider about Global Menu, like in Ubuntu Unity.
When a window is expanded to full screen, its top bar and menus are merged with the top bar of the desktop.

It's very useful, especial with laptops with their small displays.

There's already a feature request for this, which will likely be implemented as an option later in a future release

Please! One of the key feature I love in macOS and also was one of the key feature I loved in Unity. The Unity implementation was better tho as it displayed window title out of the box and menu bar when the user moved the cursor there. Also Unity moved window buttons to the top panel too. The latter would be pretty easy to implement, iirc MATE actually has a solution for that already.
