Any plan to integrate file/folder search without having to append find keyword at the beginning?

It's a very costly process because there is no indexing service. An indexing service would be necessary to have search performed globally.

I like that it's not bloated with an indexer by default.

YES PLEASE, Gnome does this natively and i miss it so much. At least for homedir files such as those in documents, videos etc

Yeah just for home directory sounds reasonable.

can we integrate fsearch into launcher. so that those who want indexing can just install fsearch?

Is this something that should be done from cosmic side? or fsearch side?

To find files and directories very quickly, I use the "locate" utility via the console.
On the contrary, I always turn off indexers so as not to load the disk and computer resources.
