Current parsing operations extract data but lack built-in validation mechanisms. Users need to manually validate parsed results, leading to repetitive code and inconsistent error handling across applications.
This enhancement adds a validation framework that supports:
Built-in validators for common data types (email, URL, phone numbers, dates, numeric ranges)
Custom validator functions with flexible error messaging
Validation chains that can transform data during validation process
Contextual validation that considers relationships between fields
Async validation support for database lookups or external API calls
Detailed validation reports with field-level error information
Integration with existing Parser class through method chaining
The implementation should include a ValidationPipeline class that works seamlessly with Parser instances. Validators can be registered per field name or pattern, with support for conditional validation based on other field values.
Error handling provides multiple modes: strict (raises exceptions), lenient (logs warnings), and collecting (accumulates all errors for batch processing). The validation system maintains performance by using lazy evaluation and caching validated results.
