Add public-interest message about reducing first-contact workload for support organisations #11

Description

@jokroese

Background

Feedback says communications should better explain that Primer Paso helps reduce overload for organisations supporting people through regularisation.

Problem

The current user-facing copy focuses on the individual user.

That is correct, but Primer Paso also has a clear organisational value:

  • better prepared first contact
  • fewer repetitive intake questions
  • clearer evidence gaps
  • faster identification of cases needing specialist review

Proposed change

Add a concise message to the home page, footer, or about section explaining that Primer Paso helps people arrive better prepared when contacting organisations.

This should support the civic-tech rationale without making the page feel like a funder pitch.

Suggested Spanish copy

Primer Paso también ayuda a las entidades que acompañan el proceso: ordena la información básica antes del primer contacto, señala posibles vacíos y permite dedicar más tiempo a los casos que necesitan apoyo especializado.

Files likely affected

  • src/routes/[lang=lang]/+page.svelte
  • src/lib/content/es.ts
  • src/lib/content/en.ts
  • src/lib/content/fr.ts
  • src/lib/content/ar.ts
  • docs/design-spec.md, if the product rationale should be updated

Acceptance criteria

  • The message is present in an appropriate place.
  • The message does not compete with the primary CTA.
  • The message is written primarily for users and support organisations, not as marketing copy.
  • The message is translated across all supported languages.
  • The copy does not imply that organisations endorse the tool unless they explicitly do.
  • Tests pass.

Why this matters

It strengthens the civic-tech rationale and helps partners understand why the tool exists.
