What is the maximum input voltage for the 12V external power supply input interface on Dragon Q6A? Is it safe to use 13.8V? 14.0V?

You can apply an input voltage between 4.6V and 16V to the 12V pin - with 5V, 9V, or 12V being the recommended values. This input is then stepped down to 4.2V by the SY81012VDC.
Note: Do not use the USB Type-C interface if you are supplying 12V power externally.

I tried connecting 5V and GND to GPIO4 and GPIO6 pins, but nothing happens. Is it mandatory to use 12V for startup, or is 5V sufficient, given that it's the same voltage as the USB-C connector?
-update- I tried 5V and it seems to work properly and I use the gpio4 and 6 to connect a fan.
