The data/ directory contains metadata for packages that don't seem to exist anymore in the original repositories. At least I have noticed that with Biocontainers, because of a couple of those packages causing directory does not exist warnings upon generating the dump (upper/lower case issues, see exemple 1 and example 2). Those packages don't have any metadata imported fro bio.tools or elsewhere.

I'm trying to understand why from 9,800 imported yaml files we end up with "only" 8,100 entries in the dump, which seems like a lot
