N64 controls mapping issue #287

Description

@cafox2003

Device Information

  • Device: Anbernic RG Rotate
  • Android Version: Android 12
  • Argosy Version: 2.3.0

Bug Description

It appears that the underlying N64 controls are configured in the core internally, and cannot be fully configured from the "controls" menu. Furthermore, configuring from the "controls" menu produces incorrect button mappings

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open any N64 game (I tested with Mario 64) and ensure it is using the Mupen64+ GLES3 core
  2. Go to 'settings/controls/input remapping' and unbind all buttons.
  3. Bind C-Down to A
  4. Attempt to play the game

Expected Behavior

No movement should occur

Actual Behavior

The following buttons are mapped:
Dpad -> Analog stick (Assuming the setting for "D-Pad as Left Stick" is enabled)
B->A
Y->B
A->B (No C-Down, it maps both A and Y to B)
R1->R

More gets messed up when trying to map controls, but I have a feeling that the core issue has to do with two sets of control mappings

Screenshots / Logs

N/A

Additional Context

I've changed the setting that chooses controller type as being a switch controller.
