'Connected' screen takes a long time when launching game

Bug Description

Sometimes, this screen takes a pretty long time (> 10 seconds). My Romm server isn't exactly powerful, which might be related.

Happens seemingly at random. Curious if the app is doing some operation on this screen?

This screen handles pre-launch save syncing (in case you're behind the remote state) and also downloading libretro cores if you're using built-in or RetroArch to run it... but it should only happen once her platform (it won't try to update the core as long as you have it).

If your connection or server are not great, you could definitely have a bit of a delay... but not more than 5 seconds in most cases.

Oh, I see. May I suggest adding some explanatory text on this screen indicating what it's doing, just to avoid confusion?

I've also experienced that the post-game save syncing takes a few seconds, but I guess it's also because my server is slow. Making that one async would feel a bit better as I would no longer need to wait the few seconds for the sync to finish before I can use Argosy again.
