HDMI Audio Out and per app EQ

I do not know if other people experienced this, but I'm sharing this for everyone.
I have a Mac mini M4 and a MB Air M4 as well. the mini with a Scarlett Solo as audio out by default, but both connected to a monitor with an HDMI audio extractor (Thanks Samsung G9 :()

I couldn't find why the EQ didn't work on the Air but did work on the Mini on both the Scarlett Solo and on HDMI as well.

I finally found that in Audio/MIDI configuration the HDMI setting on the MB Air was to use 6 channels.
As I switched to 2 channels, EQ started working properly immediately.
