I am new to this database, but I went down a rabbit hole writing an experiment that would look at mixed gas samples using two-photon microscopy and then attempt to map the antennae activity to specific receptors. I can roughly estimate what classes of volatile are going to be represented in my samples, but I will not have exact amounts. I am mainly trying to show that the flies can respond to and differentiate between an array of similar compounds. I am thinking of compiling a list of test odorants using the privateodorant data beforehand, but is what I'm hoping to do possible with another approach?
