I need to add a note to the docs about protecting shortcodes with Pandoc raw attributes. I'll do that when I come back to this repo for  #18.

In the last blog post we have issues with shorcodes, but I don't know if this is the same error: ropensci/roweb3#1290

The text of the caption was put outside the figure shortcode (fixed in my edits)

Ouch. Now, if Panache works well for us, I will retire aeolus anyway. What do you both think?

I don't think I've tested Panache with short codes, but yes I think panache might be easier (unless having an r package for CI is easier? But I think we can use Panache on CI as well if that's a route we'd like to take).

I'd say don't make any new changes to aeolus, but don't retire it just yet either 😁
