Fin de la phase initiale privée

Le 24 juin 2026 marque le premier anniversaire du tout dernier prerelease du projet legacy Rubberduck.

C'est donc pratiquement un an jour pour jour plus tard que survient l'annonce publique de RDCore™, un projet open-source de plateforme de langage qui vise une réimplementation complète de VBA depuis sa spécification (MS-VBAL).

La publication du référentiel jusqu'ici privé RDCore vise d'abord à exposer le projet et sa documentation : les contributions externes sont présentement fermées jusqu'à l'adoption (prochaine) d'un accord de licence contributeur (CLA) dont les grandes lignes sont déjà publiés dans CONTRIBUTING.md.

Le déploiement du référentiel implique les étapes suivantes :

• ✅ Annonce limitée aux contributeurs historiques
• ✅ Publication du référentiel
• ✅ Publication de cette annonce sur le référentiel RDCore
• ✅ Publication d'un article sur le blogue Rubberduck News
• ✅ Publication de cette annonce
• 🚧 Mise à jour contenu du site rubberduckvba.ca

La portion "feuille de route" et gestion de projet est en cours de réalisation sur le référentiel et devrait être plus étoffée au moment d'ouvrir les contributions externes.

End of initial private phase

June 24, 2026 marks the 1-year anniversary of the last pre-release build of the legacy Rubberduck project.

It is therefore exactly one year later day for day that the official public announcement of RDCore™, an open-source language platform project aiming for a complete reimplementation of VBA, from its specification (MS-VBAL).

The private RDCore repository being made public primarily aims to expose the project and its documentation: external contributions are currently closed pending the adoption (soon) of a contributor license agreement (CLA) of which the key elements are already published in CONTRIBUTING.md.

The publication of the repository implicated the following steps :

• ✅ Publication of the documentation site
• ✅ Limited announcement to historical contributors
• ✅ Publication of the repository
• ✅ Publication of this announcement... in the RDCore project repository
• ✅ Publication of an article on the Rubberduck News blog
• ✅ Publication of this announcement
• 🚧 Updating rubberduckvba.ca content

The "roadmap" and project management portion is a work in progress on GitHub and should be in a good shape when external contributions open.
