[Bug] Git diff not showing properly when wanting to open diff view

it's just a small inconvenience I'd say - anyways...

Reproduction steps:

1. make an .env.example
2. commit that
3. make a change, like renaming a variable or adding one
4. in VSC, open your Source Control in the left sidebar
5. click on the changed file and select "Open with default editor"

It would usually show the diff - but it doesn't, it rather opens the file regularly but the old version, without the changes.

I could only guess because its programmatically opening the file, and this doesnt account for the diff view.

yes, you're right. the extension only checks if the file is a .env file or not, without considering the context or the purpose for which it's being opened.
fixing this seems way more likely than the previous issue you opened :)
