I think that having a history and/or comment field for our antenna gain arrays will be extremely helpful for archiving/analysis purposes, and could also have immediate development applications (e.g. "phase" type gains being handled via a specific comment field). We just need to agree on what restrictions/limitations should be placed on that field - do you have strong opinions? Mild opinions?
My initial impression is that we just need to limit it to either a string of some maximum length, or potentially a set of strings with specific structure (eg always starting with "values" or "parametrised", and potentially adding further information such as "scalar", "diag", "full", "delay", "ionosphere" etc). The specifics will depend on the interaction software, I suppose. Can be defined in discussion.
