What does custom vscode-go extension do?

This is great 🎉 I started thinking about how to accomplish this and even started peeking around on vscode-go until I realized you've already done it!

What did you have to do to vscode-go to get this working, and how do you imagine keeping up with it going forward?

Glad to hear that you find it useful! :)

You can see all changes that I had to do in this diff: scele/vscode-go@master...extensions
It's mostly just about resolving symlinks (otherwise go-to-definition would open a symlink into the editor, instead of the real file), and looking for sources in multiple directories.

I don't have plans to upstream these changes for now, although that would be ideal. Using a fork is not a problem for me personally, and I don't see many other people using this.
