At present, we use quarterly planning: for each upcoming feature, suggest a year and quarter that it will be released. And include a list of completed items.
Instead, we should use the Now-Next-Later approach.
- List the features we are working on now
- then list the features that will be worked on next (Redis / Sidekick, Rails 8.1, Checking the content security policies (inline JS/CSS, nonces)),
- then list the features which will come later (S3 support, RO-Crate for ISA/Collections).
Use a level 2 heading to separate each section. Don't include the 'Completed' items. We have the release notes for that.
