Hey @DayZAnder . yes, the projtect api supports most of the functionality. I was actually planning to add some new tools for protect and the alarm manager. I do think a dedicated mcp server would likely be more sutible, as longs as its maintained. I already have an issue to add support for the new api via the api key, so i'm looking into it for sure, though likely as a separate server. I have other ideas beyond just MCP as well. Lets leave the discussion open. What do you plan to do with a protect-focused MCP? |

FYI @DayZAnder The first version of the Protect MCP server is now available. v0.1.0 zWith 34 tools which should help you with what you want to do . Opened any feedback you have as well. Given it's the first version, I'd consider it in beta though I did some testing locally and it's looking pretty good. Even things like streaming events, getting snapshots in base 64, all should work. |

Hi,
Does the API support NVR as well?
For example handling video recordings.

Edit: Noticed there's itsablabla/unifi-protect-mcp so that might be more suitable.
