Qtel never connects

I can see all EchoLink servers listed, and get status on them, but when I try to connect, it just hangs on "Connecting to C4LLS1GN..." for a minute or so, then gives up and says "Disconnected."

EchoLink performs normally even when the build standard uses -DUSE_QT=OFF in the cmake structure - I have never used QTEL in any build of svxlink. The emphasis I have placed on SvxLink is that is it RepeaterController/NetworkInterfacing/EchoLink in that order. In the UKWide+ network, EchoLink connections are asked to not be passed over the wider network, complying with EchoLink's own rules, as an SvxLink network is effectively a conference in style if not in context.
