Bug Description
When I try to sign in to YouTube Music through Kaset, the app does open a Google login window, but the passkey authentication flow fails.
Instead of completing the login, Google shows an error screen saying "Something went wrong" and suggests checking whether Bluetooth is enabled and whether the devices are close to each other. This happens when I try to authenticate using the device passkey.
Expected Behavior
The passkey authentication should complete normally and sign me in without requiring manual password entry.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Kaset on macOS.
- Start the YouTube Music sign-in flow.
- Choose sign in with a device passkey.
- The Google authentication window opens.
- The flow fails and shows the error screen.
macOS Version
macOS 26 (Tahoe)
Kaset Version
0.10.2
Affected Area
Authentication / Login
Screenshots or Logs
Additional Context
I verified that all passkey requirements were met, including Bluetooth being enabled and the devices being in close proximity, so the error message appears unjustified.
