Hello!

My name is Raphael, although you might know me better as Instafluff.

I've spent years building open source projects — tools, libraries, bots, games — and sharing them with anyone who wants to use them. Some of you found me through the Coding Cafe on Twitch, some through projects like ComfyJS, and some through the Comfy Discord community. However you got here, I'm glad you're here. 💜

What I'm Building

I have over 150 open source repositories on GitHub. Some are small experiments, some are tools people depend on every day.

ComfyJS is the one I'm proudest of. It's been around for 8 years now, and it's still actively used — on jsDelivr alone, it's tracking toward ~3.4 million requests a year. Thousands of Twitch creators use it to add chat interactivity to their streams, and it works because it makes something that used to be complicated feel simple and approachable.

TestWithWords is the newest project. It's an AI-powered testing tool where you describe test scenarios in words and it drives a real browser to execute them. The idea is the same as always: take something that feels intimidating and make it accessible to more people.

ChatterboxTranslatorBot is still bridging language barriers in Twitch channels. ComfyMongoDB is still making databases less scary for beginners. These projects keep running and keep helping people, and that matters to me.

Why Open Source

I'm not going to tell you open source is always the smart path. It's usually not the profitable one. But I genuinely believe it has the potential to do real good and have a real positive impact on people's lives.

ComfyJS is proof of that for me. A free library, built in the open, still helping people 8 years later. No paywall, no subscription, no catch. Just a tool that works.

That's what I want to keep doing. Building things in the open, keeping them free, and making them as useful as I can.
