Possible Memory leak on the website

Describe the bug
Using the website, a few seconds into playing a MIDI file, the website slows down a lot and consumes a lot of resources

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Monitor system resources (use task manager)
2. Go to the website
3. Upload a file
4. Play the recreated MIDI
5. See a massive spike in memory, CPU, and possibly disk usage
6. The song might start glitching out and looping too

Expected behavior
I don't use the site much but a year or so earlier, this tool worked without a hitch. The whole browser didn't slow down, and the audio rarely glitched out

• CPU: i5-6600
• GPU: HD 530 iGPU
• Storage: HDD

Additional context
I'm not entirely sure it's a memory leak; maybe the tool is now too advanced for my PC. The behaviour feels like a memory leak, however, because it only happens as I play through the MIDI

for me it goes up to 100% ram usage even tho i have 16gb

If it helps, a VST plugin version of the basic-pitch model called NeuralNote works flawlessly with a respectable 950 MB of ram usage and with very low disk usage. So I suppose my computer can be ruled out as part of the issue. Also, a test on Firefox led me to force close the program entirely due to the lag.

happens on firefox too. my oom-killer is quite drowsy, so it ended up killing my desktop afterwards. 32gb of ram.

i have 32gb ram and firefox, IT DOES IT TO ME TOO. thats just insane.

Same, it reaches memory limit of a tab and get killed by Firefox, and my system has 64GB RAM, it didn't sratch my maximum RAM but it still crashed

It's just me, or the web created MIDI are different (and better!) from the one created using the library, even using the same parameters?
