Using Sugar on Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a Debian-based Linux operating system, with Gnome as its default desktop environment. -- wikipedia.org

In relation to Sugar, Ubuntu is a downstream distribution project that can be used to run Sugar.

Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble Numbat)

Sugar 0.121 can be installed with the following commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install sucrose

Ubuntu 23.10 (Mantic Minotaur)

Sugar 0.120 can be installed with the following commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install sucrose

Ubuntu 23.04 (Lunar Lobster)

Sugar 0.120 can be installed with the following commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install sucrose

Ubuntu 22.04 (Jammy Jellyfish)

Sugar 0.118 can be installed with the following commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install sucrose
