Implement forward error correction

The speed falls down to zero when a link is disconnected. Sometimes the data download speed drops to zero when a link is broken. I use your software for work via extremely slow links (100 KB/s, delay of 700ms+). Is there any possibility to add an active failsafe connection that would allow sending the same blocks of data over several links at once so that it wouldn't be necessary to resend a block of data when one of the links is disconnected? Thank you for your software. I am ready to sponsor the development of this functionality via XMR.

What you are asking for is forward error correction using erasure coding, for example implemented using Reed-Solomon.

Note that this will lower the total bandwidth of the connection, since some bandwidth needs to be set aside for redundancy.

While it would be possible to implement this in Aggligator, I currently have no plans for doing so myself.

I am also not able to take XMR or similar cryptocurrencies; consulting would have to be done through proper contracts according to German law.

However, since this is an open source project and there is legitimate use for this feature I would be willing to accept a PR, provided that it is of sufficient quality.
