Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We are committed to providing a welcoming and inspiring community for all. We pledge that everyone who participates in the Agent Event Protocol community: through contributing, collaborating, or using AEP: will experience a harassment-free environment.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior:

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • Discriminatory language or jokes related to personal characteristics
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information without consent
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for:

  • Clarifying standards of acceptable behavior
  • Taking appropriate action in response to unacceptable behavior
  • Removing, editing, or rejecting contributions that don't align with this Code of Conduct

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to:

  • All project spaces (GitHub issues, pull requests, discussions, etc.)
  • Public spaces when acting on behalf of the project
  • Private communications related to project business

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by:

  • Opening an issue with the label code-of-conduct
  • Emailing surabhi7pradhan@gmail.com (please include "[CONDUCT]" in subject)
  • Contacting a maintainer directly

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated. We guarantee confidentiality of the reporter.

Maintainers will take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Private conversation with the individual
  • Public warning
  • Temporary or permanent ban from the community
