Badge parameter broken with Tahoe?

Describe the bug
The badge parameter doesn't seem to work for me, regardless of what I do. Has something with Tahoe broken it? Is it just me? 😓

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Run a simple script:

echo "This is a primary Menu Title"
echo "This is a secondary Menu Title"
echo "---"
echo "Testing badge number | badge=5"
echo "Testing badge text | badge=hello"
echo "Testing badge space number | badge = 5"
echo "Testing badge space text | badge = hello"

Environment:

• macOS version: 26.3.1 (a) (25D771280a)
• SwiftBar version: 2.0.1

Additional Context:

• I don't run Bartender/Dozer/etc. or tested the issue without it running

Interesting, I'm on 26.1 and it works just fine. Looks like a Tahoe regression, I'll try to look around the forums to find another cases like this.

@melonamin Oh interesting! I can't help but wonder if something on my end is messing it up as well. Although, I don't have Bartender or anything that messes with the menubar installed 🤔

No, I don't think it is possible for you to screw it up. It would be helpful if you could find another app you're using that shows badges and check if they're present or not.
