Founder hi — SAPlayer's streaming buffer pattern is still doing real work #187

Description

@danifru

Hey Tanha — I know the repo's been quiet for a while and you're Head of Product at Ambience now, so this is more of a hello than an issue.

I'm the founder of Reclip (audio-social, passive audio capture, Sequoia-backed). We've used SwiftAudioPlayer as a reference implementation more than once — the streaming-buffer + AVAudioEngine pattern in your audio engine is honestly still the cleanest public example of remote-audio chunked playback in Swift. 624 stars and active threads from May 2025 (#186) tell me it's quietly doing real work for a lot of people 4 years on.

The reason for the note: very few people have actually built canonical Swift audio infrastructure AND made the jump into product leadership. That combination — hard-tech instinct plus product taste — is exactly the founding profile we're hiring for at Reclip. Even if a founding-eng role isn't where you are right now, would love 20 min to swap notes. Your read on how the iOS audio domain has shifted since 2021 would be hugely valuable, and there might be an advisor angle that works for both of us.

— Dan, Reclip
