Grafana won't allow anonymous login, even with environmental variable set

What happened?

I set GF_AUTH_ANONYMOUS_ENABLED=true in the docker-compose file, but Grafana still forces login. No matter what combination of variables I set, Grafana still forces login.

Expected Behavior

Setting GF_AUTH_ANONYMOUS_ENABLED=true should enable anonymous login

This is not an issue with TeslaMate but with Grafana. I'll move it to a discussion.

Has anyone seen this issue before? Does anyone know how to fix something like this?

It works without a problem for me but I'm not using the Grafana provided by Teslamate. Have you tried recreating your stack via docker-compose up -d --force-recreate ?

For reference, that's how my docker-compose.yml for grafana looks (shortened):

Do you have a rogue space on your environment variable of the YML file?
