Upgrading postgres to version 17

I am having a heck of a time trying to upgrade postgres to ver 17. i get this error on the dashboard and looks like upgrading postgres is my fix?

Status: 500. Message: db query error: pq: invalid input syntax for type json

But everytime i change the image to 17 and rebuild i cannot access :4000 anymore. any ideas?

I solved the Postgres issue (i just uninstalled everything and reinstalled it. i didnt have any data i didnt mind losing) but i am still getting the status 500 error. Is it just a lack of data thing or is the database messed upagain?
